Drink More Water, Lose More Weight




Drinking water is important if you’re trying to lose weight.  All functions within the body need the presence of water. Drinking plenty of water will make us feel more energetic and improve our metabolic rate until burn calories 3% faster.

The medium weight person is suggested get at least 64 ounces of water daily that means consume 8 8-ounces glasses water daily. If you are on diet to lose weight, it is more important to keep drinking water throughout the day, except you have any medical condition that doesn’t allow much water intake. A good guide for daily intake is to drink 1 ounce of water for every 2 pounds of body weight. For example, a 200 pound person should drink around 100 ounces (12.5 cups) of water per day in order the gain the benefits of increased energy and metabolism.

Tips of Drinking Water to Lose Weight

1) Replace all sweet drinks with plain water

2) Drink a glass of water 15 or 20 minutes before start a meal. Water can reduce the hungry feeling.

3) Stop consume ice cold water, consume room temperature or warm water.

Warning: Too much water can cause health problem. Drinking more than a gallon of water all day can cause serious kidney damage.
