Fat Burning Food-Green Tea
Green tea contains high levels of catechin-polyphenols. These catechin-polyphenols compounds, particularly epigallocatechin gallate (EGCG), and caffeine work synergistically to strengthen the levels of thermogenic effect and boost up the sympathetic stimulation of thermogenesis. In other words, green tea boosts up your metabolism to burn more calories and slows down the ability of the body to store sugars and fat.
The thermogenic effect was originally attributed to its caffeine content from epigallocatechin gallate (EGCG). However, green tea stimulates fat thermogenesis better than a comparable amount of pure caffeine. It has been shown to increase 24-hour energy expenditure and fat oxidation. On the other hand, the caffeine only increases metabolism during the time you consume it.
If you drink green tea, you can lower cholesterol and increase energy expenditure. Green tea also can release carbohydrates slowly to prevent sharp increases in blood-insulin levels. The catechin-polyphenols compounds can inhibit the movement of glucose in fat cells. This can promote the fat burning.
Drink 3-6 cups of green tea a day can help to increase metabolism, lower the cholesterol and burn fat safety and naturally. However, drinking green tea alone can’t help to solve the weight gain problem. Combine drinking green tea with a light exercise program and having balanced healthy diet should promote healthier and slower weight loss which can last longer compare with the fad diet or crash diet without exercise.
