How to Lose Weight Based on Blood Type




There are four basic blood types, which are type O, A, B and AB. Type O is the first originator, the oldest blood line goes back approximately 30,000. Type A and type B goes back approximately 20,000 years ago, Type AB 1000 years ago.
Based on the idea from Dr Peter D’ Adamo, naturopath and creator of the blood type diet claims in his book Eat Right For Your  Blood Type, we can lose weight easily if we know our own blood type and the link between foods and blood type.
This is based on the idea that each blood group has its own unique antigen marker (a substance that the body recognizes as being alien) and this marker responds badly with certain type of foods, leading to all sorts of potential health problems. Moreover, Dr D’Adamo opinion that levels of digestive enzymes and stomach acidity are linked with our own blood type. As a result, if we can follow a specified design diet based on our own blood type, our body digests and absorbs food more efficiently, with this result that we can lose weight.

 Diet Profile for Different Blood Type
Type O: High Protein- Meat eaters
The people with blood type O should consume on many typical high-protein, low-carbohydrate diets such as the Atkins diet. This type of people can freely eat meat; fish and olive oil, while moderately eat eggs, nuts, seeds, certain fruits and vegetables. It is recommended that avoid consume dairy products.
Type A: Vegetarian
People with blood type A must avoid all red meats and dairy products. They be supposed to eat a mixture of vegetable, cereals and seeds beans.
Type B: Balanced Omnivore
People with blood type B can eat most food groups include meat, dairy products and vegetables, only need to avoid consume too many cereals.
Type AB: Mixed Diet in Moderation
Dr. D’Adamo recommends type AB people follow a veggie diet most of the time with some meat, dairy products and fish occasionally.

Type A

-: wheat, meat, dairy products, kidney beans, and lima beans
Type B
+: greens, tea, eggs, venison, liver, and licorice
-: peanuts, sesame, seeds, lentil, corn, buckwheat, and wheat
Type AB
+: seafood, dairy products, tofu, greens, kelp, and pineapple
-: red meat, lima beans, kidney beans, seeds, corn, and buckwheat
